St Martin's Cathedral
This is a panaromic view of the inside of the St. Martins Cathedral. You can zoom in and out using the bottoms at the bottom and click and hold your mouse to look all around the inside of the cathedral. Its taken from the cathedrals website. You need quicktime to see it.
Heres where its all going to take place.
Its in the area of Bratislava known as the 'old town centre'.
The cathedral is really old; construction began in 1221 and numerous coronations have taken place there over the years.
There are crypts under the cathedral that you can visit. It costs about 2 euros and students are free. The crypts are about 300 years old.
When you pay to visit the crypts you can also walk all the way to the back of the altar where the coronations took place.
The wooden seats on the right and left are where the dignitaries sat. They have their own special symbols marking their seats. Some of them are really cool!
In the right knave of the church some more crypts were recently discovered. There is a glass floor and you can see the skeletons.
